You only need to complete and return one application, whether it be online or in paper format. Once the first application is processed, any subsequent applications will be rejected as a duplicate.
Your approved status does not change when your additional application gets rejected. (If your first application was approved, and you apply again, your second application will be denied; but your first application will remain approved.)
Montgomery County only mails applications to registered voters who request them. Many voters opted to be added to our annual mailing list when they applied to vote by mail the previous year, while others have contacted us separately to request an application.
There are many organizations that are unaffiliated with any government entity that may have also sent mail in ballot applications.
If you gave us your email address in your application, you will receive an email when your application has been processed. You will also receive an email when your vote has been recorded.
